Hi, I’m Country Carl - welcome to the Bridge to Tulsa Update. I just got back from Beau Robinson Music where I layed down some tracks to a new song called Hobo Up and another called Bridge to Tulsa. This Bridge To Tulsa song is a ballad about reaching out and rekindling a relationship that one had to leave. I have spent so much time on the road that I can relate to the situation and long distance communication. I'm wrote this song on my Hummingbird in the open key of D. The open Key of D give a truly rich bass sound on this guitar. Country Carl -

Here are the lyrics to Country Carl's BRIDGE TO TULSA:

I drove back to Tulsa
It's been 2 years
I heard you were still there
I had to know if you still cared
Or is it true

The Bridge of Love has Burned Down
and not a Spark from a Cinder on the Ground
Can Touch You

I have to see You face
I hope for an embrace
But I know time can be cruel
and a bond is broken between me and you
If it is true

The Bridge of Love has Burned Down
and not a Spark from a Cinder on the Ground
Can Touch You

Our minds held a place
Where our hearts once raced
I know it;s hard to go back there again
But this feeling it just won't end
Unless it's true

The Bridge of Love has Burned Down
and not a Spark from a Cinder on the Ground
Can Touch You

The Bridge of Love has Burned Down
and not a Spark from a Cinder on the Ground
Can Touch You
